This 1960’s era ranch home in Marietta, near Kennesaw National Battlefield Park had been thru a few previous renovations.
My office was asked to strip back the previous work, and reset the palate.
Reducing the house to bare studs…the new work included a complete re-imagination of the house.
A new chefs kitchen, a guest suite, family room spaces, and an expanded garage/home office space were added…all housed within modern farmhouse undertones.
A new lap pool and landscaping fences completed the composition. Landscape architecture design by Southern Roots Studio (Courtney Willis, ASLA), and construction by Build CooperJones of Marietta. Photography by Jeff Herr Photo.
